DESCRIPTION:These hands-on sessions at our sustainable food education charity in East Malling give children the opportunity to grow\, harvest and cook seasonal vegetables\, support wildlife and care for our planet\, with tutors who have achieved Carbon Literacy certification. \n\n\n\nThis ticket is for a single session on Tuesday 15th July – Cook Up A Feast! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDesigned to inspire young people to get outside and active with focused activities to engage and inspire them to learn more about the natural world. \n\n\n\nThe Field School at Communigrow is a relaxed outdoor setting where young people can be themselves. \n\n\n\nExperienced tutors and absorbing activities mean that everyone\, including those with anxiety or sensory needs\, feels comfortable. \n\n\n\nWhilst acquiring valuable practical skills\, learners grow in confidence and experience the mental health benefits that come with spending time in nature. \n\n\n\nRegistration at 11.05 am\, session runs 11.15am – 12.30pm \n\n\n\nGood to know: \n\n\n\n\nThese sessions are for children aged 4-11. Please book a ticket per participant.\n\n\n\nBooking is essential.\n\n\n\nCompost toilet and hand washing facilities available on site\n\n\n\nFree parking is available.\n\n\n\n\nIf you have any questions please email us:  \n\n\n\neducation@communigrow.org.uk \n\n\n\n*Please note tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to another event. If you are unable to attend\, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else (please let us know the name and email address of the attendee)\, otherwise your ticket fee will be considered a donation to Communigrow.
