DESCRIPTION:These hands-on sessions at our sustainable food education charity in East Malling give children the opportunity to grow\, harvest and cook seasonal vegetables\, support wildlife and care for our planet\, with tutors who have achieved Carbon Literacy certification. \n\n\n\nThis ticket is for a single session on Tuesday 24th June – Practical: Get Growing on the Field! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDesigned to inspire young people to get outside and active with focused activities to engage and inspire them to learn more about the natural world. \n\n\n\nThe Field School at Communigrow is a relaxed outdoor setting where young people can be themselves. \n\n\n\nExperienced tutors and absorbing activities mean that everyone\, including those with anxiety or sensory needs\, feels comfortable. \n\n\n\nWhilst acquiring valuable practical skills\, learners grow in confidence and experience the mental health benefits that come with spending time in nature. \n\n\n\nRegistration at 11.05 am\, session runs 11.15am – 12.30pm \n\n\n\nGood to know: \n\n\n\n\nThese sessions are for children aged 4-11.
