Description

Saturday 14th September 1pm-3.30pm

Take inspiration from the beautiful flowers and plants in our garden and create botanical art using the power of the sun over a two and a half hour session.

The session takes place in the peaceful gardens at our sustainable food education charity in East Malling.

In this fascinating workshop, tutored by Kent artist Giles Whitehead, you will learn the techniques of cyanotype printing including composition, exposure and washing out to create stunning Prussian blue and white pieces to take home.

Gile Whitehead is a Kent based artist who regularly exhibits work throughout the county and beyond. You can find out more about Giles here: https://www.instagram.com/gileswhiteheadartist/

Includes tea and coffee.

This session is for adults or teens aged 14 and over.

Please note, as this workshop is dependent on exposure to sunlight, in the event of wet weather this session may be postponed and rescheduled. In this case we aim to inform you as far in advance as possible based on the Met Office weather report. A refund will be offered to people who cannot make the rescheduled date.
