Description
This is a block of 6 sessions running from Tuesday 7th January 2025.
Learn carpentry basics – measuring, cutting, joining and finishing. Create a finished piece to take home.
The Field School at Communigrow is a relaxed outdoor setting where young people can be themselves.
Experienced tutors and absorbing activities mean that everyone, including those with anxiety or sensory needs, feels comfortable.
Whilst acquiring valuable practical skills, learners grow in confidence and experience the mental health benefits that come with spending time in nature.
Registration at 1.05pm, session runs 1.15pm – 2.30pm
Good to know:
- These sessions are for young people aged 10-16. Please book a ticket per participant. The programme covers 6 lessons (£48 per participant)
- Booking is essential.
- Compost toilet and hand washing facilities available on site
- Free parking is available.
