Discounted block booking Sensational Summer Home Ed ages 6-11 (7 sessions)
June 3 @ 9:30 am – 10:45 am
These hands-on sessions at our sustainable food education charity in East Malling give children the opportunity to grow, harvest and cook seasonal vegetables, support wildlife and care for our planet, with tutors who have achieved Carbon Literacy certification.
This ticket is for a block booking of 7 sessions this term starting on Tuesday 3rd June and continuing to 15th July.

Programme of learning:
3/6 Pond Dipping – Discover the creatures making our wildlife pond their home
10/6 Practical – Get growing on the field
17/6 Wonderful Water! – FInd out how we use water wisely and how important it is for the plants and creatures at Communigrow
24/6 Practical – There are lots of jobs to be done at this time of year, help us keep the veg in tip top condition
1/7 Marvellous Meadows! – Learn to identify different grasses, and the creatures that live in these amazing ecosystems
8/7 Practical – Join in with practical activities on the field
15/7 Cook up a feast! – Harvest fresh veg to make a tasty dish
Designed to inspire young people to get outside and active with focused activities to engage and inspire them to learn more about the natural world.
The Field School at Communigrow is a relaxed outdoor setting where young people can be themselves.
Experienced tutors and absorbing activities mean that everyone, including those with anxiety or sensory needs, feels comfortable.
Whilst acquiring valuable practical skills, learners grow in confidence and experience the mental health benefits that come with spending time in nature.
Registration at 9.20 am, session runs 9.30am – 10.45am
Good to know:
- These sessions are for children aged 6-11. Please book a ticket per participant.
- Booking is essential.
- Compost toilet and hand washing facilities available on site
- Free parking is available.
