New, two hour Home Ed sessions at Communigrow! Join us for 6 exciting weeks of seasonal exploration, where children learn through practical activities, scientific investigations, creative projects and gardening in our beautiful community garden in East Malling, Kent.
During your 2 hour sessions you will
– Learn about seasonal changes in autumn.
– Develop practical gardening skills.
– Explore science through observation and investigation.
– Cook using seasonal produce.
– Build confidence working outdoors.
– Create nature-inspired artwork.
– Understand the importance of trees, wildlife and composting.
The Field School at Communigrow is a relaxed outdoor setting where young people can be themselves.
Experienced tutors and absorbing activities mean that everyone, including those with anxiety or sensory needs, feels comfortable.
Whilst acquiring valuable practical skills, learners grow in confidence and experience the mental health benefits that come with spending time in nature.
Registration at 9.50am, session runs 10am – 12pm
Good to know:
- These sessions are for children (ages 4-10). Please book a ticket per participant.
- This ticket is for a block of 6 consecutive sessions staring on Tuesday 8th September.
- Booking is essential.
- Compost toilet and hand washing facilities available on site
- Free parking is available.
