This session is a one off session in a series of 5 sessions this term:

6/5 Amazing Amphibians! – Get down to the pond area and find all about these amazing creatures

Designed to inspire your children to get outside and active with focused activities to engage and inspire them to learn more about the natural world.

The Field School at Communigrow is a relaxed outdoor setting where young people can be themselves.

Experienced tutors and absorbing activities mean that everyone, including those with anxiety or sensory needs, feels comfortable.

Whilst acquiring valuable practical skills, learners grow in confidence and experience the mental health benefits that come with spending time in nature.

Registration at 11.05 am, session runs 11.15am – 12.30pm

29/4 Practical – Spring is in full swing and there will be lot jobs to do sowing seeds and looking after seedlings

Designed to inspire your children to get outside and active with focused activities to engage and inspire them to learn more about the natural world.

Spring into Spring! Family Workshops

April 16 @ 10:30 am 3:30 pm

Get hands on with nature at a Communigrow Family Workshop this Easter holiday. In this fascinating 90 minute session you will:

  • Go on a slimy safari to discover the secrets of slugs and snails.
  • Make clay snail decorations.
  • Learn how to pot up some super seedlings to take home.
  • Enjoy a hot chocolate and toast marshmallows around the fire!

Choose from the morning session from 10.30am-12pm (registration at 10.20am) or afternoon session starting at 1.30pm-3pm (registration at 1.20pm).

*Both adults and children require a ticket* 

This session is aimed at families with children aged 4-12 and children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
