Our hands on sessions at our sustainable food education charity in East Malling give you the opportunity to grow, harvest and cook seasonal vegetables, support wildlife and care for our planet, with tutors who have achieved Carbon Literacy certification.

This ticket is for a single session on Tuesday 17th June.

Designed to inspire young people to get outside and active with focused activities to engage and inspire them to learn more about the natural world.

The Field School at Communigrow is a relaxed outdoor setting where young people can be themselves.

Experienced tutors and absorbing activities mean that everyone, including those with anxiety or sensory needs, feels comfortable.

Whilst acquiring valuable practical skills, learners grow in confidence and experience the mental health benefits that come with spending time in nature.

Registration at 1.05 pm, session runs 1.15pm – 2.30pm

Good to know:

  • This session is for young people (ages 11-14). Please book a ticket per participant.
  • Booking is essential.
  • Compost toilet and hand washing facilities available on site
  • Free parking is available.

Communigrow Tots – discounted 6 session block booking

This is block booking ticket for 6 Communigrow Tots sessions running from June 5th to July 10th 2025 at The East Malling Centre (Chapman Way, East Malling, ME19 6SD) at a discounted price of £30.

Fun and educational indoor and outdoor nature-based activities and crafts for toddlers and preschoolers with our carbon literacy certified Field School Tutors.

Tots learn how to sow seeds, taste fresh vegetables, look after our insects & birds, grow flowers & have fun in the woods.

Good to know:

• These sessions are for toddlers (4 y/o and under). Please make a booking per participating child.

• Maximum of 3 children per adult please.

• All children remain the responsibility of the adult who brings them.
