Lots of fun for nature loving tots. Explore our wildfife area, get creative with natural materials and plant some seeds to take home.

Good to know:

• These sessions are for children aged 5 y/o and under. Please purchase a ticket per participating child.

• Maximum of 3 children per adult please.

• All children remain the responsibility of the adult who brings them.

• Ticket price includes hot drink for adult carer and squash.

Clay Workshop

September 27 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Take inspiration from the beautiful flowers and plants around you in the Communigrow Community Garden and build two items of your very own design over a two hour session in our yurt.

Tutored by local ceramicist Anita Oakley, you will dip into slab work, coiling, and pinch pots. Your creations will be bisque fired and then glaze fired for collection at a later date.

Your session will include tea and cake and all the materials you need.

This workshop is suitable for adults and young people aged 14+.

Cyanotype Workshop with Giles Whitehead

July 26 @ 10:00 am – 12:30 pm

Take inspiration from the beautiful flowers and plants around you and create botanical art using the power of the sun over a two and a half hour session.

Tutored by local artist Giles Whitehead, you will learn the techniques of cyanotype printing including composition, exposure and washing out to create stunning Prussian blue and white pieces to take home.

Your session will include tea and cake and all the materials you need.

This workshop is suitable for adults and young people aged 14+.
